Girls Open Skills sessions

Female players born in 2017, 2016 and 2015 are welcome to come out and train together with Coach Tony Merola to enhance and develop their technique. Sessions are tailored to maximize touches on the ball while improving balance and coordination within each player that is specific to movement that occurs in a game. $15 per session

Soccer Saturday Dragon skills ages 6-11

Enhance player skill set with learning strategies to improve dribbling, passing, controlling, goalscoring and defending. Sessions are tailored for beginners and intermediate players.

Individual Training Sessions

Hone your skills through a customized training program designed to suit your current skill level. Two programs are offered where you can have a full hour of detail and reps from Coach Merola, or you can invite some of your teammates to join in to improve link up play or creating goalscoring opportunities.

Boys FREE ID Clinic April 06th

The Wrexham Texans Football Academy bring you a FREE 2-hour soccer ID clinic on Sunday April 06th at Highland Middle school from 12-2pm. The purpose is to identify local talented High school players that are currently looking to play the next level or make connections in Europe.

Player Feedback Analysis

This program is designed to provide honest and specific feedback to individual players from a technical perspective only. No tactical work is presented to players unless specified and authorized by the player's Club or Head School Coach.

Literacy Project for schools

The Wrexham Texans Football Academy (WTFA) Literacy Project is a program created to support local schools from grades 6-8, using football (soccer) as a vehicle to promote reading and writing levels in both boys and girls.

Spring Break clinic

Registration is open for the Spring break 3-day clinic on Monday March 17th to Wednesday March 19th 17th from 9-12pm. Sessions will maximize touches on the ball and improve technical elements such as dribbling, passing and scoring goals. Speed and agility work will also be included along with some balance and changing direction games. Price is $105 per player with a $10 discount for each sibling attending.

Extra-Curricular Literacy Project

The Wrexham Texans Football Academy (WTFA) Extra-Curricular Literacy Project was launched on the back end of the Summer Series of projects delivered to over 150 children within the Fort Worth Parks and Rec Community Centers. The program is tailored for students to enhance their literacy skills by using soccer as the vehicle to raise levels of reading and writing. In person modules that are covered include creating a match report of their choice and creating a set of questions to interview a semi-professional soccer player and Elite coach. Practical elements are also available so students can enhance their soccer skills whilst also participating in physical activity.

Limited edition sweatshirts to order

Purchase an official Wrexham Texans Football Academy limited edition sweatshirt. Sizes are adult large in black and gray with children's sizes large and in black only. Prices are $50 for adult sweatshirts or $40 for children but if order before December 20th receive a $10 discount on adults and $5 on children's.
